Happy Birthday to me.

So it’s my birthday today. Lauren and I are going out for Japanese food to celebrate and I might buy myself a video game or something.

We have almost everything packed so now it’s just a matter of waiting on the check and dealing with U-Haul. I’m dreading the actually move but I’m really excited to be getting back home to Portland.

I’m just really sad that I had to miss this weekend in Portland. Between the Twilight Crit and the Portland Century, I’ve missed so much great cycling in one weekend. At least I’ll be back in time for Portland falls. They don’t get the “middle” seasons in Arkansas. There’s just a hot season and a cold season. It will be nice to see autumn colors and cooler temps.

Back to Portland

So, I’ve got a bad case of insomnia and I think it’s because of stress over the upcoming move.

Thanks, right, we’re moving back to Portland this month. It’s really been the only place that I’m glad to call home. I only came back to Arkansas to get my degree in line and while I didn’t accomplish as much as I would have liked, I’m sick of life here.

All that we’re waiting on now is for Bank of America to get our loan check in the mail. That’s a long story however and I’m tired of telling it.
